Despite playing at 10 a.m. local time, the Owls’ bats woke up in plenty of time for Sunday’s rubber match at ULM.  FAU slugged a season-high five home runs in the 13-1 drubbing of the Warhawks.  Four different players hit home runs with Sean Bukovich being the only player with multiple dingers.  Enjoy the highlights from each of the five FAU long balls…

TOP 5th – Nick Delguidice does it again.  His two-run double ties the game at 4-4.  The hit extends Delguidice’s hitting streak to nine games.

TOP 6th – Raymond Church (pictured) connects on his first home run of the season to pull the Owls within 7-5.  However, that is as close as FAU would come.

A thrilling victory for FAU in game two against Troy on Saturday night.  The Owls won a back-and-forth affair in 11 innings over Troy 5-4.  Nick Delguidice was the hero, his 11th inning go-ahead HR secured the victory for FAU.  Enjoy the higlights…

….Owls look for the sweep tomorrow, RHP Kevin Alexander (1-1, 6.08) on the bump for FAU.  Trojans starter is still TBD.  Later.
